Over the forthcoming weeks we’ll be posting features from various people in the Explore section of this website. The articles will generally be prepared by people who have been involved behind the scenes. The first post was written by designer Paul Hemmingfield who has been responsible for producing all the WHP artwork since 2006.

Apologies if some of you haven’t been able to access the site at certain points over the last few hours… The volume of traffic to the site has been mental and made the whole thing take a bit of a wobble. All under control now.
2010 is a special landmark for
The Warehouse Project.
When the idea was first proposed, many people said it simply wasn’t going to work and if we’re being honest even we had our doubts. After all, the idea of booking 25 or 30 massive events and running them one after the other solidly for three months in a temporary unused space in Manchester was not a dead cert… to say we were flying by the seat of our pants is definitely an understatement. But the whole thing did strike a chord and each year since it has been tweaked and developed, but we still get as nervous as hell.
As ever the line up has been pieced together since before the doors closed on the last series, and right up until today we’ve been pushing every DJ and live act worth their salt to get on board.
We hope you enjoy what lies ahead, and hope to see you venture beneath the streets to celebrate Five Years of The Warehouse Project.
