A Film by Leigh Powis & The Warehouse Project ‘Twenty Years In Manchester’

‘Twenty Years In Manchester’ is a short film directed by esteemed filmmaker Leigh Powis. A visual retrospective bringing to life a 20 year journey of archived moments and real stories, spanning two decades of dancing, from Boddingtons to Mayfield and beyond.

To mark two decades of WHP, we teamed up with director Leigh Powis for a collaborative short film. A hazy look back at how WHP started and the journey so far, but also looking forward to where it’s going. Manchester isn’t just the city where this happens; it’s the whole reason why it happens. Huge love and thanks to the artists and the performers, and especially everyone who has shared this dancefloor over the last 20 years.
